Psychoanalytic Journal Club

This group meets on Friday lunchtimes, on the first Friday of every month. at 12.15pm to 1.30pm at premises currently located at Sheffield University

Each month, a member of the club takes a turn at presenting a topic that might be of of interest to the group. A paper, or papers are circulated to the group members prior to the meeting.

For example, the most recent topic was ‘Laughter’.

The Journal Club is currently seeking new members.

Membership of the group is by application to the group secretary. In your application, you should give us an idea of your interest in psychoanalytic thought, what you are seeking in joining the group, and how you might add something to the group.

It’s a very informal setting, with a collegiate atmosphere.
