About Psychotherapy

Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic and Jungian Analytic psychotherapies

all aim to contribute significantly to our general sense of well-being and to our ability to manage our lives more effectively, positively influencing our mental and physical health.

They draw on the theories and practices of psychoanalysis and analytical psychology.

They are processes which help us to understand and tackle our problems by increasing awareness of the way in which our inner world influences our perception of and behaviour in the external world.

They differ from many other approaches to psychotherapy and counselling because they are usually a long-term process aiming for deep-seated and lasting change within our personality and emotional development.
